Passion Cooks

During my preps, I do always read w@w, every single day. And nung time na naghahanap kami ng caterer/venue, I read about Passion Cooks. I really loved their set up. Personalized compared sa mga “normal” caterer. We really don’t have a theme, kaya nagdalawang isip ako sa PC, baka kasi di namin ma-maximize yung talent nila. But nung pinakita ko kay hubby yung mga set-up nila, nagustuhan niya talaga. Then we decided na magfood tasting. Since wala ako sa Pinas that time, si hubby and yung sister niya yung nagfood tasting. They really like the food =) At first, I have doubts kung kakayanin ba namin yung price ng PC (Passion Cooks) from set up, food and additional expenses. Pero dahil gusto talaga namin, we immediately booked them.

cream puffs!
We loved the drapes with the crystals and lanterns (not sure kung lanterns nga ba yun). We loved everything Maja did for our venue. =) We got our crew meals with them too. Pagdating pa namin from church, pinuntahan pa talaga kami ni Maja just to greet us. She left early din, pero talagang pinuntahan pa niya kami just to say goodbye to us. And if you decided to get PC, don’t remove the cream puffs. Sobrang gustong gusto ng guest namin yun. It became one of our souvenirs (aside from cupcakes and photo magnet). We got tiffany chairs from Maja na din. =) About food, personal fave ko yung oriental salad, cream of pumpkin, chicken and ham crepe and mango cream pie. Hubby loves their bacon and banana rolls =)

Pros:
  • One event per day
  • Answers email within a week
  • Gave additional free food tasting if needed
  • Help us with choosing the right mix and match of food na pasok sa budget
  • Managed to finish the set-up even the time constraint (due to venue)
Cons:
  • If you ask for something, usually you need to pay additional costs

How to go to UN Memorial Cemetery

UN Memorial Cementery is one of the top attractions to visit in Busan when you checked tripadvisor. Let me guide you how to go there =)

How to go there:
1. Using Busan subway station, go down to Daeyeon Station (Line 2) and go out at Exit 3.
Daeyeon Station
2. Go to the nearest intersection and turn left.
Intersection
3. Just walk straight to the street until you see a rotunda/roundabout. It will take 10 minutes for walking.

4. When you see the rotunda/roundabout, just go straight. You will pass by Busan Museum then turn left.

7. There will be guards. Just say you want to visit the cemetery. No admission fee.

Tips:
  • Always obey the rules. Keep off the grass. They are very strict with this. Someone is roaming around to check.
  • Get pamphlet as your guide. English pamphlet is available for free near the gate. You can also just walk at your own pace/route.
Hope you reach your destination. Take care! =)

Figaro

Breakfast date, Why not? :) We tried rice breakfast in Figaro. Price is around 170-220pesos with free brewed coffee.

Their breakfast is just ok. But I won't come back for their breakfast anymore. Maybe if I don't have a choice? We ordered longanisa and tapa at Figaro Festival Mall.

It's just me or maybe some branches have better cook?

Santuario De San Jose

I really don’t have a dream church. Then here comes the door. Everytime na nanonood ako ng SDE, its not the vow, or any other actions na naiiyak ako, laging sa pagbukas ng pinto hehe! So sabi ko I want a dramatic door =) Then I came across a blog about SSJ.

Basic flower set-up + white tulle
Before the wedding day, wala naman kaming naging problema sa kanila. They are very considerate when it comes to requirements. During our Canonical Interview, late pa kami. Nakakahiya kay father. Buti nalang mabait si father. They guided us for the other requirements na kelangan. They are very patience with our questions. Onting lambing lang naman sa pagtatanong, para hindi matarayan, kasi we tend to be makulit sometimes hehe =)  We supposed to have a guest priest, but all of a sudden, hindi pala pwede si father. Buti nalang available pa si Father Alex, yung nagcanonical interview samin. So we asked him to be our priest on the day. Wala naman naging problema sa kanya. I asked SSJ for the additional tulle for the aisle. It will cost you additional 500pesos.

Music was never a priority for us. Kahit CD lang sakin ok na for bridal march. Feeling ko kasi mas gusto ko yung original yung kakanta. But since SSJ have a free soloist and pianist, might as well use it. Mabilis magreply si Kuya Jun pag nagtetext ako. I wanted sana a specific song, kaya lang babae kumanta. Sabi ko, wala na talaga kong time to find one. Then may friend daw siya na pwedeng niyang ipagawa but with additional payment. So sabi ko ok lang. Days before the wedding day, he texted me saying hindi daw siya sure kung magagawa yung piyesa. Sabi ko ok lang kung wala talaga. Nung una, I asked if we can play the original song sa cd. Ako pa daw magdadala ng CD player at magpaplay. So sabi ko, let me know kung ano na yung mga kaya mong kantahin. He emailed me the list including the songs na kakantahin niya during the mass. Namili nalang ako dun =) If you will ask him to sing a bridal march, may additional charge. Pag ayaw mo ng may additional, Canon D yung bridal march na tutugtugin nila.
Entrance

Pros:
  • Fee includes priest, basic flower set up, aircon, soloist and pianist
  • They accept Discovery Weekend in replacement for their Pre-cana seminar
  • Very patient with our questions
  • They have checklist of all the documents needed
Cons:
  • Soloist/Pianist will give you list of songs. Very limited.
